Czech term

g.h.

Czech to English Medical Medical (general) gynaecology, obstetrics
Procento předčasných porodů ( < g.h. 37)

Is there an English equivalent for 'g.h.'? I've never seen it used in English.

Thanks for confirming that it isn't used in English. I also learn from your link that English-speaking doctors don't usually write 'weeks' or anything like that, but just '/52'. It's rather confusing that they use the number of weeks in a year (52) rather than the number of weeks in a pregnancy (42), but, judging by the end of the discussion there, '52' really is used as generic shorthand for 'week'.

Thank you, Stuart. I'm aware of the Greek word mentioned there (hebdomas), and when I heard 'fermeture hébdomadaire' from a French shopkeeper years ago, I was astonished at such a learned term for 'early closing' (he opened the shop for me anyway) - but I wasn't sure there'd be anything hebdo- here.

weeks of gestation/pregnancy or /52 Someone asked the same about the Polish here: https://forum.wordreference.com/threads/is-hbd-used-in-engli... A couple of the responses look useful. (Short answer there: no, there isn't an English equivalent)

Is there an English equivalent for 'g.h.'?

There seems to be a technical problem with this question. I've made two previous attempts to post it.
