In einem Text über die Vorteile von NMR-Analyse und Chemometrie bei der Analyse von Raffinerieprodukten:

"Using chemometrics, however, the NMR spectra of small (by NIR standards) data sets of representative samples with known measurement values are recorded and the results mathematically compared or 'regressed' against the known values to produce a statistical 'model'. This 'Universal model' includes Fluid types from multiple sources to increase the _operational chemistry_ of the model."

Ich verstehe das so, dass eine größere Anzahl unterschiedlicher Proben das Modell verlässlicher macht bzw. es auf einen größeren Bereich angewandt werden kann.

Den Ausdruck "operational chemistry" bekomme ich jedoch nicht in den Griff.
