German term

Schnitt Feiertag

German to English Other Law: Taxation & Customs
Hello,

I am translating a payroll accounting statement.

What does Schnitt Feiertag mean in the following context?

Bruttoentgelte Vormonat(e)
097A Neb.Geb. Schnitt Feiertag

profit, bank holiday? This is probably not the case...

Thank you in advance.

Ah, yes, Schnitt must refer to Neb.Geb. (logically speaking, not because the ST uses proper punctuation). Thank you, everyone.
Björn Vrooman Aug 4, 2023:
Agree... ...here too. The bigger issue is that the sentence has been wrongly parsed, i.e., the question is impossible to answer because "Schnitt" doesn't refer to "Feiertag" but to "Nebengebühren."

Have a great weekend, both of you!

Yes The answer is in your other question, where it says Durchschnitt. They both mean average.

[Durch]schnitt average?
