WISE query 1009890 was submitted to engineering in regards to requesting the option of removing the current M8 swivel lifting eye (P/N 01724483) and replacing with a Crosby welded pad eye. By removing the current lifting eye, servicing costs will be lowered due to the continued need to purchase new hoist swivels that are getting damaged along with the threaded caps supporting the hoist rings. This would also improve the reliability and traceability of the lifting arrangement on the HT-1M.
