Greek term

Δράκοντπήάσον

Greek Other Other Place Names
Greetings

A very strange word, quite incomprehensible to me:
Ref. https://wikivisually.com/wiki/Boztepe_hill,_Trabzon
The Dragon's fountain (Δράκοντπήάσον) is near Hoşoğlan village.[5] According to John Lazaropoulos' Logos on St. Eugenios of Trebizond, Alexios II of Trebizond killed a dragon at the site.

Please give the correct version of this place name, or the one by which it is known, and the meaning.

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Simon

Δρακοντοπήγαδον

The source term is not really a greek word (too many stressed letters, to mention just one of the problems). Δρακοντοπήγαδον literally translates as the dragon's well. The final ν is there as per the pontic language tradition (the version of greek that was spoken in Trabzon area before 1923 and still survives in families of pontic origin).
