Slovak term or phrase: Strachu ani zato vypisat neda
In a 1946 letter from Slovakia, a woman mentions the poor conditions her family had lived through during the war and adds: "Strachu ani zato vypisat neda ale šak polahki nato zapomeneme." I believe the last half of the sentence reads: "...but we will easily forget that." The first half of the sentence, however, presents some difficulty. The handwriting and grammar of the letter is challenging. Any suggestions?

she is using a future tense while describing 1946, but it would probably be better as "time has softened our memories" i.e. gradually forgetting
