Dutch term
gemaakte vastleggingskosten
Dutch to English
Other
Finance (general)
Leasing
Help please.
The entire sentence is Vastlegging tarief tot en met 16/07/2015. Indien deze datum overschreden wordt, zal het tarief aangepast worden, rekening houdend met de gemaakte vastleggingskosten.
I have (very) tentatively tried this: Commitment rate up to 16/07/2015. Should this date be passed the rate shall be adjusted, in the light of the commitment costs incurred.
Any suggestions please?

Discussion
10.1 Lessee has paid Lessor a commitment fee in an amount equal to one percent (1 %) of Lessor’s commitment described in Section 1 of this Schedule. Said fee shall be credited against the first month’s rent of any Unit leased hereunder in an amount equal to one percent (1 %) of the Purchase Price of each such Unit. If the aggregate Purchase Price of all Units leased hereunder on or before___________is insufficient for the full amount of the commitment fee to be credited as set forth above, any remainder shall be retained by Lessor."
(from a book titled "Equipment Leasing" @ https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=PuvLcYU23T4C&pg=PA299&lp... )
"commitment fee" always reminds me of securities (see e.g. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/commitmentfee.asp ), but it can also be used in a leasing context, like this e.g.: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=PuvLcYU23T4C&pg=PA299&lp...
The text, as you said, is all about leasing equipment. In other parts of the text they do talk about paying some sort of commitment fee: "If the lease has not entered into force within three months after the date when the contract was signed, from that time onwards and up to the commencement date the lessee shall owe the lessor a monthly commitment fee of 0.375% for the part still not included". Which is why I latched onto "commitment " like a drowning sailor
the context you gave for this question is "Finance (general) / Leasing"
