I presume that the Wachsung here is meant in the sense of wax rather than growth/overgrowth.

For Lackunterwanderung you could use paint ingress.
This completes the electronic assembly of the display base. ..... The main components that should be removed are the deflectors, cab and firebox. ... model, remove the roof and firebox (prevent paint ingress into the firebox).

...falls es sich um Leiterplatten handelt, könnten Unterlaufungen (Verschmierungen) es Lötstoplacks gemeint sein. Siehe Seite 171 des Anhangs.
