t-3 lines łącza (stałe) (o przepustowości) T3 Explanation: Termin T1 pojawił się w USA pod koniec lat sześćdziesiątych i oznaczał kompresję 24 linii telefonicznych do jednej pary kabli. Obecnie pod pojęciem T1 rozumie się łącze, o przepływności 1,544 Mb/s, które można wydzierżawić od operatora telekomunikacyjnego. W Europie odpowiednikiem T1 jest E1 (2,048 Mb/s).
