French term

secours caisse

French to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
From an spreadsheet about a tender relating to a sewage treatment plant.

"contrairement aux PID désodo de l'offre des secours installés sont prévus:
...
2 tours + 1 ventilateur/tour + 1 ventilateur secours caisse"

I think 'secours' might be standby, because they use the English word 'standby' elsewhere in text.

I've found a similar example in this document(p. 28):

Imogen Hancock (asker) Nov 20, 2014:
This is excel segment in full: '- contrairement aux PID désodo de l'offre des secours installés sont prévus :
* Azurair C
pompes recircul. = 2 Duty + 1 Standby
ventilateurs = 2 Duty + 1 Standby
pompes doseuses = 2 Duty + 1 Standby par réactif
* Azurair B
2 tours + 1 ventilateur/tour + 1 ventilateur secours caisse"

Parsing Asker, I don't think your parsing is really helping you here: this appears to be a 'ventilateur (de) secours' for the 'caisse' (just as you have other 'ventilateurs' for the 'tours')

So it all really depends on you wider context what part of the sewerage treatment plant this 'caisse' is; I suppose it is also possible that this 'caisse' might be some kind of self-contained unit, to enable the 'standby' or 'backup' fan to operate on either of the 'tours', say?
