French term
secours caisse
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
From an spreadsheet about a tender relating to a sewage treatment plant.
"contrairement aux PID désodo de l'offre des secours installés sont prévus:
...
2 tours + 1 ventilateur/tour + 1 ventilateur secours caisse"
I think 'secours' might be standby, because they use the English word 'standby' elsewhere in text.
I've found a similar example in this document(p. 28):

Discussion
* Azurair C
pompes recircul. = 2 Duty + 1 Standby
ventilateurs = 2 Duty + 1 Standby
pompes doseuses = 2 Duty + 1 Standby par réactif
* Azurair B
2 tours + 1 ventilateur/tour + 1 ventilateur secours caisse"
So it all really depends on you wider context what part of the sewerage treatment plant this 'caisse' is; I suppose it is also possible that this 'caisse' might be some kind of self-contained unit, to enable the 'standby' or 'backup' fan to operate on either of the 'tours', say?
