I have found a reference to this type of document here (6th page, point 4):

where it states:
'Carta de balance de cancelación: Significa un documento certificado...que desglosa la cantidad de dinero con la cual un préstamo hipotecario adeudado podría ser cancelado a una fecha específica'
However I can't find any reference to the correct term in English.
The context for my translation is:
'Dicha hipoteca se encuentra reducida mediante pagos parciales a la suma de $xxx según consta de catra de balance de cancelación fechada 28 May 2014'
