Hola estoy traduciendo un libro en México y entiendo a que se refieren los términos, pero no se como traducirlos porque no se de mecánica, por favor podrían ayudarme? se los agradezco mucho



Main-ends
This refers to the rubbing pairs formed
between the crankshaft main journals and their respective
plain bearings mounted in the crankcase.

Line of stroke
The centre path the piston is forced
to follow due to the constraints of the cylinder is known
as the line of stroke.

Inner and outer dead centres
When the crankarm and the connecting-rod are aligned along the line of
stroke, the piston will be in either one of its two extreme
positions. If the piston is at its closest position to
the cylinder head, the crank and piston are said to be at
inner dead centre (IDC) or top dead centre (TDC).
With the piston at its furthest position from the cylinder
head, the crank and piston are said to be at outer
dead centre (ODC) or bottom dead centre (BDC).
These reference points are of considerable importance
for valve-to-crankshaft timing and for either ignition or
injection settings.

Los que te doy son los nombres que conozco en España, por si te son de ayuda. No se hasta que punto en México pueden llamarse de otra manera.

CABEZA DE BIELA=MAIN END (También llamado Big End) es la parte de la biela que va unida al cigüeñal del motor (tiene un "agujero grande", de ahí lo de "big" o "main", que se abraza al cigüeñal sobre el que gira mediante un cojinete, que es el "plan bearing")

CARRERA (Del Piston)=LINE OF STROKE. Es el recorrido (lineal) del pistón dentro del cilindro: hacia arriba (cuando "explota" la mezcla de combustible en el pistón) y hacia abajo (cuando vuelve a su posición inicial para un nuevo ciclo).

PUNTO MUERTO INFERIOR / SUPERIOR (Los I&O DEAD CENTRES). Son, respectivamente, cuando el pistón está en el punto más bajo de la carrera (INFERIOR, Inner) y cuando está en el punto más alto (SUPERIOR, Outer)

Y espero haberte sido de ayuda y haberme podido explicar bien, porque estas cosas son un poco liosas. Siento no poder darte los nombre Mexicanos, quizás con estas palabras en internet puedas verificar si se usan así o parecidas..

OUTER DEAD CENTRE = PUNTO MUERTO INFERIOR
INNER DEAD CENTRE = PUNTO MUERTO SUPERIOR
