Честно говоря, перевел бы promises and affirmations of fact просто как «маркировочные надписи». Как мне кажется, ссылка на «обещания (гарантии, обязательства) и подтверждения (заверения, заявления)», нанесенные на тару, упаковку, этикетку, смотрелись бы малость неуместно. :-)
