Dice el Pep (el albañil que me está haciendo ahora las aceras) que eso se
llama en español "tabiques de cielo raso". Me explica que se usan para darle
pendiente al tejado, y que bajo el cielo raso ("sostremont") puede haber
viguetas o tabiques ("envanets").
Aprovecha mientras tenga aquí a los albañiles...

"envanet" es el diminutivo de "envà", es decir, "pequeño tabique" oder
"kleine Trennwand".
Se trata de un tejado (inclinado) que se sustenta sobre un techo plano. La
inclinación se va ganando aumentando la altura de los "envanets"
paulatinamente.
