Norwegian term
5 selv
Non-PRO
Norwegian to English

I’m translating a short article in a company magazine from Norwegian to English. It’s handwritten and a little hard to read. However, it looks like there is a little play on words in one bit, or a play on numbers.
It goes;
”Resultat. 3 selv (sølv??) i fersk (først??) linje. Tilsammen 5 selv (sølv??) i 1 linje. Guld.”
Gold is a grade or rank. I imagine 3 stands for the verb “tre”, but what can the 5 represent?

I can only make vague guesses without more context, but I believe the numbers are just meant to be numbers; no wordplay. "Tilsammen" means "altogether", so the 3 and 5 are counts of something.
The forms of the "tilsammen" and "guld" words suggest that this is either Danish or old Norwegian.

Like Lars, I really have no idea. This is just a guess.
