professional schools Here the term is being used figuratively. They mean the collection of learning establishments used to train people in the main professions of life. As I said, it is a nuance of speaking used for emphasis, not an official type of training college. I wouldn't strictly associate it with the term post-graduate.

term This is not an established place of learning in UK at least. I think the answer may lie in your context because this sounds like a very odd name for a type of college. I think it was written emphatically or by someone who is not good at writing. If it is a kind of a post graduate college it is a very rare type.

am găsit că professional school e echivalent cu graduate school, care e http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduate_school, deci cred ca e ok postuniversitară cum spuneai !

Mulțumesc pentru soluție, dar dacă ne gândim că printre „professional schools” se numără și jurnalismul, dreptul, arhitectura, etc. mă tem că nu poate fi asta. La noi școala profesională pregătea alt tip de profesioniști, în nici un caz cu studii superioare. De aici gândul meu ca ar putea fi școală postuniversitară.
