Discussion

Lara Barnett Dec 2, 2011:
@ HEIKKI could it mean providing?
Heikki Särkkä (asker) Dec 2, 2011:
Comment You're quite right to ask for more context, Lara. The trouble is that the only visible context is the list of various disciplines on which the diploma holders were graded. As is often the case, the mind of the designer of the document unfortunately remains a black box.
As it stands, the phrase seems somewhat unbalanced: prepararea activitatii etc. seems correct, but I am baffled by the bit 'asigurarea
activitatii...' Taken at face value, this seems to mean ' ensuring that the students work properly with the learning materials'. Leaving out 'asigurarea', I read it as 'ensuring the availability of learning materials'.

@ Asker Could you explain a bit more about what this sentence is refering to in terms of "activitatii" please. The translation of "asigurarea" will depend on this IMO.

Hello, Heikki! You are very welcome. Thank you, I will definitely call upon you if I have a question about Finish.
Note from asker:
Thank you for your comment. I am translating into my native Finnish (I also tramslate from Finnish into English and the other way round), but put the question into the Romanian-English category in order to get more response. If you ever have a question about Finnish, don't hesitate to ask me.
