Thank you Colin. No letter after. My link below breaks the I87.8 down further into many types...none of them (or all of them!) seem to work. What troubles me is that CVJ seems to be very specific German abbrev for some kind of venous condition, but I cannot figure out which. I keep gravitating to the "Claudicatio venosa" one in my link just because it has "CV" in it...

Not "Venöse Insuffizienz"... Same source lists this as "I87.2 Venöse Insuffizienz (chronisch) (peripher)"

"CVJ" is associated with this diagnostic code I87.8 in another part of the document. However, it clearly says CVJ (computer printed on a standardized form, numerous times) not CVI.

Just wondering... ...if this really is CVJ, or perhaps CVI: "chronisch venöse Insuffizienz". If this is handwritten, I and J are often very similar in German.
