French term or phrase: conditions de chantier
In a text of construction specifications there is repeated reference to "conditions de chantier." Is this as simple as it seems? "Conditions of the construction site." It seems very vague.

An example of a full sentence:

"Il s'agira d'être vigilant aux conditions de chantier lors du dégarnissage des panneaux de gypse existants."

"Attention must be paid to the conditions of the construction site when the existing drywall panels are taken down."

Thank you!

agree  B D Finch: Though a client has insisted that I translate chantier as "worksite" each time it was mentioned, one doesn't do so in the UK where it is either "site conditions or "construction site conditions" if you are feeling verbose.
