Bookkeeping description of expenditures
I'm aware of this term in electric technology, but don't know what it is in bookkeeping.
"Поскольку компания является торговой и активно развивается, управленческие расходы являются ***постоянно-переменными*** и связаны с увеличением объемов продаж".
("... administrative expenses are" - what?)

Comment: "Thanks, Igor - and everybody else, too. My context was so poorly written that it was hard to tell, but I ended up thinking they meant something like this; and that their hyphen had perhaps originated as a slash."

Nothing to do with electricity of course. What they mean is that due to energetic expansion of the company their administrative costs are always changing.
Note from asker:
Makes sense. Something like that was trying to come into my head, but since every single other expression in this text is some kind of fixed accounting term, I wouldn't believe my own thoughts. |

The Misha
: This is not an accounting term, but then there is no such thing as fixed AND variable in GAAP accounting, and probably not in any other system eithe. This is a typical example of pseudo sofisticated drivel from poorly educated folks. I mean, the original.
