German term

Ausfertigungsvermerk

German to English Other Education / Pedagogy Fachspezifische Studien- und Prüfungsordnung
I am translating a series of Subject-specific Degree Program and Examination Regulations for various B.A. degrees at a German University, in this case, a B.A. in Public Management and Governance. At the very end of the document, this "comment" is added:

Ausfertigungsvermerk: Die Zustimmung gem. § 70 Abs. 6 i. V. m. § 34 Abs. 1 Satz 3 LHG wird erteilt, und die Ordnung wird bekannt gegeben.

I would appreciate your ideas on how I best translate the term “Ausfertigungsvermerk” in this instance. Thanks in advance!

Ah yes, now it finally begins to make sense to me. Thank you. :-)

I thought perhaps there were documents copied? I do believe "foot-note" could lead off whatever it is that has been "used with permission". Hope it helps!
Marci Warner (asker) Jun 6, 2011:
Thanks for your response. The paragraph reference pertains to applying for state accreditation, which leads me to be somewhat skeptical about "Ausfertigungsvermerk" referring to a certified copy. But I may be wrong.

could it be something along the lines of showing that this is a certified copy of an original document?

That is, if it is a copyrighted document. You could leave the "foot-note" and just say "notice"
