Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
From a Shipping checklist of a product supply form. This sentence:

Selected

lightweight (sheet metal) canister

薄物製 lightweight manufactured
缶品 can goods
because it's lightweight manufactured, canned goods seems strange (like tins full of fine silk), so in this context the cans as the goods makes more sense. In that case, they would be something like aluminium pop-cans, or a metal drum, some sort of metal container

Cans made of thin material (e.g. aluminium)

I am guessing, 缶品 here would mean "can" itself, not the canned product (缶詰め); 薄物 would be "thin" and then 製 meaning "made of". Hope this will help.
