I am translating into Polish a death certificate issued in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. This abbreviation is one in a series of abbreviations which are all connected and seem to indicate a geographic location. The full sentence is as follows:
"4 Permanent residence of deceased: If in the city, give name, street and number. If outside the limits of a city, town or village, give sec., tp., rge., mer.)"
