Actually I don't know who Rita Khory is, and it appears that her international peers are more specific when it comes to describing their professions (anchorman, TV host, telecaster, etc.).

The term media person appears as a good synonym in the media jargon, though not frequently used, and is used to describe one of the officials in Nepal. However I do prefer to use "host" and to try to know more about the type of media she is involved in, and add to your context accordingly.
