Can you help me with the term "válvula de conducción"?

The context is as follows:

19.1. Obligación del CONTRATISTA de realizar las Pruebas de Aceptación

El CONTRATISTA deberá realizar las Pruebas de Aceptación que consisten en:
a. Pruebas Preliminares (pre-commissioning).
b. Pruebas de Puesta en Marcha (commissioning test).
c. Prueba de Confiabilidad.

Las Pruebas de Aceptación deberán ser llevadas a cabo como se describe en el Plan de Trabajos para las
Pruebas de Aceptación aprobado por el xx. El CONTRATISTA deberá ejecutar estas pruebas con el fin
de verificar que la Instalación y los Equipos están en condiciones de operar de acuerdo con los
requerimientos del Contrato.

El equipo y la instrumentación para la realización de las pruebas será suministrado temporalmente por el
CONTRATISTA.

Para el detalle de las pruebas de aceptación de cada sistema, favor referirse a las Especificaciones
Técnicas Particulares correspondientes.

19.2. Programa de Pruebas y Procedimientos de Pruebas

Noventa días (90) antes de finalizar la instalación y el montaje de las principales Instalaciones y Equipos
(Turbina, Válvula de Admisión, **Válvula de Conducción**, Puente Grúa, Generador, Sistema de Control,
Protección y Medición), el CONTRATISTA deberá enviar el Programa de las Pruebas Preliminares y las
Pruebas de Puesta en Marcha al xx con la descripción detallada de las pruebas para revisión y
aprobación.

19.2. Test Program and Test Procedures

Ninety (90) days before finalizing the installation and assembly of the principal Installations and Equipment (Turbine, Inlet Valve, **válvula de conducción **, Overhead Travelling Crane, Generator, Control System, Safety and Measurements), the CONTRACTOR must submit the Program of Preliminary Tests and the Commissioning Tests to the xx with a detailed description of the tests to be reviewed and approved.

I have "conductor valve" but I am not convinced at all that this is the correct term, nor can I find references to substantiate it.

If you have other references, can you post as "reference documents" or use the "discussion box". Thanks, but I still am not 100% sure as there are very, very few reliable references on the net.
