In the past three weeks we have been reviewing and reinforcing English grammar, mechanics and usage.

Wiem co obejmuje mechanics, ale nie wiem jaki jest najlepszy polski odpowiednik.

Moja pierwsza myśl to interpunkcja, ale nie wiem czy w Polsce nie wszedł jakiś nowy, "nowoczesny" termin do użycia.

Wydaje mi się, że 'mechanics' to jednak wiecej, niż sama interpunkcja. Obejmuje też np. numerację, skróty, budowę akapitów, przejścia pomiędzy elementami w toku rozumowania, ogólne utrzymanie porządku w wypowiedzi (np. poprzez użycie zaimków), itp. Stąd moja (przyznaję, niedoskonała) propozycja.
