Statutory Declarations Act 1835 (Eedswet)

I'm not a specialist in this field, but I do know there is usually no direct equivalent of an act or a law in another legal system. IMHO, you would have to refer to the Act named in the source text and add a rough translation in brackets or in a footnote, e.g. Eedswet (which actually exists in the Dutch legal system, see below) or Wet op de plechtige verklaring (which as far as I know does not exist in the Dutch legal system but is a fairly literal translation, even if it does sound rather odd).
PS: According to Van Dale, a statutory declaration is a 'plechtige verklaring (eed)'.

Deze wet kan worden aangehaald als Eedswet 1971 .
