Es geht um eine Umfrage zu Frankier- und Kuvertiermaschinen, hier speziell um "permit to pay for postage" (vermutlich eine Übersetzung aus dem Frz.), wobei für "permit" der Begriff "Frankierwelle" vorgegeben ist.
Was ich nun nicht verstehe: "Do you need to do a report for the post office to handle this part of your mail (postal manifest)?"
Offenbar muss über die Frankierungsvermerke ein Bericht an die Post gesandt werden...? Kennt jemand den Begriff "postal manifest"?

| Danke für die Hinweise. Ich habe die Internet-Referenzen auch gefunden, bin mir aber immer noch nicht sicher, was die deutsche Entsprechung für "manifesting" ist - lediglich der Nachweis gegenüber der Post oder ein komplexerer Prozess. |
