Discussion

Alain Pommet Nov 20, 2009:
Blinded by the light As far as I know Google crawlers can now "see" flash content (since sometime last year) whereas previously they just skipped over it. But the idea that it is "re-used" is not true as far as I am aware since it hasn't "gone" anywhere but remains safely inside the flash files. Sounds like a case of trying to blind the public with science.

Ah yes! The culmination of ones Flash experience can be seen in a full-Flash site. Needless to say, creating a fully "Flashnetized" site can be a frustrating and tiresome process. While this tutorial will not help you design the Flash site, this tutorial will help you to take care of the technical and usability details such as linking between pages, creating a good navigation, and other common stumbling blocks one will encounter when creating a Full-flash site.

Looking at your Q again ... I take it you are actually asking about réinterprétation and its possible translation as "embedment", not about "full flash" which is totally new to me at least.

Given the refs to "interpretation" of Flash applications, I imagine they can be "reinterpreted" also, though in this case réinterpréter could well be a shunting together of "re-use" and "interpret".

Adobe, the creator of Flash Player, developed a product that INTERPRETS FLASH APPLICATIONS for web crawlers, making it possible to index that data for searchers. The technology was released to Google and Yahoo.
