Right! OK, so it is now perfectly clear that the EN here is heavily flawed.

I would understand this as meaning "2 appointment slots" — but again, the translation of 'appointment' will depend on the wider context: with whom is this appointment being held?

I certainly don't think it has anything to do with an appointment to a post (nomination); as for 'comparution', it really all depends on who and where...

Le contexte est le suivant:

the plaintiff made a statement that the plaintiff intented to take 5 oral evidences which shall take 2 timesof appointment...

Merci de votre collaboration .

Right! But if she didn't bother to reply at my first question, it seems useless to try to help her...
Looks "weird" also to ask so many questions and not to reply, when one is asked.

Weird English Having seen your string of other questions going through, I am beginning to wonder if this isn't quite seriously flawed non-native EN. It's impossible to tell with the phrase taken in isolation like this without context, but my hunch is what you have here is either an already-translated document, or one that was written by a non-native-speaker. Hence why it is all the more important to provide a great deal more context.
Beila Goldberg Jun 14, 2009:
Don't wait or hope to get it... See my posted discussion for "so argue" : the firt question before a lot of others.
No answer till now...
Tony M Jun 13, 2009:
More context It's quite impossible to tell without having a lot more of the overall and local context to work with

il faudrait un peu plus de contexte
Note from asker:
Voci le contexte de la phrase: The plaintiff made a statement that the plaintiff intented to take 5 oral evidences which shall take 2 times of appointment and then the defendant.... Merci et pardon pour le retard.
