German term

Gewerbliche Wirtschaft

German to English Other Education / Pedagogy Austrian Certificate
The whole thing is:
Lehrlingsstelle der Kammer der Gewerblichen Wirtschaft fuer Kaernten.
I did: Apprenticeship Department of the Chamber of ??? Commerce for Carinthia.
And I realize that people get upset when asked for two words - however I DO know each individual word, but not together like above, so I apologize in advance. I've seen 'Industrial Economy' someplace, but in this context it doesn't sound right.
Proposed translations (English)
4 trade and industry

Thank you, Susan, for the kind words.
Susan Welsh May 9, 2009:
Don't worry about two words People do it all the time, for the very reason that sometimes the difficulty is in translating a phrase. (I know the instructions say just to use one term, but sometimes that's not possible!)

trade and industry

There is already a Proz reference:
gewerbliche Wirtschaft - trade and industry
In connection with Chamber, there is also a reference in Proz that can be modified for your translation. I would just say: Carinthian Chamber of Trade and Industry
