Explanation:
Früher war ein Wintergarten nicht viel mehr als ein verglaster Balkon. Inzwischen aber versteht man darunter offenbar durchaus eine Art "Zimmer" aus Glas (siehe Demo oben, 1.Link). Falls es sich ums Erdgeschoß handelt, könnte man auch von einer Glasveranda sprechen.

Explanation:
Es kommt darauf an, um was für ein Gebäude es sich handelt. Bei einem Wohnhaus würde ich auch auf Wintergarten tippen, bei einem repräsentativen Bau, z. B. einem Museum, würde ich Lichthof sagen. Da es ja im Original camera heißt, kann man annehmen, dass der Raum überdacht ist, also überdachter Lichthof oder verglaster Lichthof.

neutral  Saskia Ponzi: Eine "camera" ist aber kein Hof... Hier wird "Lichthof" z.B. mit "atrium" übersetzt. http://www.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/architecture/621... In der Frage klingt es eher nach einer Art Anbau aus Glas.
