"Retainer fee = common payment practice for agencies, and other service providers such as architects or expediters in the US, not only law firms. Agencies will have an annual or six month contract with the client and get payed a retainer for a defined amount of hours. after that the agency will charge addtl. hourly fees."

neutral  Rolf Kern: Das mit dem "mindest" ist fraglich, weil in der Frage kein Hinweis vorhanden ist, dass und in welcher Weise der Empfänger mehr Geld als dieses Minimum erhalten kann.

agree  schnitzelplanet: schließe mich der Meinung an. Es handelt sich hier ja schließlich nicht um die Gebühren für eine Zahnspange. Und es gibt auch keine Andeutung, auf eine Pauschale.

agree  Rolf Kern: Ich glaube, "Retainer" ist die beste Lösung, da dieser Begriff für die verschiedensten Verhältnisse angewendet wird, während "Honorarvoschuss" zu eng begrenzt ist.
