Spanish term

Sábanas de Papas Hervidas

Spanish to English Other Cooking / Culinary Brunch menu for a hotel
"Estación de Tostadas Francesas:
Crema Chantilly, Fresas, Blueberries y Raspberries, Sirope de Maple, Compota de Manzanas y Canela, Sábanas de Papas Hervidas"

These are several toppings for French toast that you can ask the Chef (or the server, actually) to serve you as you go along the buffet line.

I have no idea how to express this in a way that sounds appetizing! (certainly "boiled potatoes" doesn't sound appealing to me at all, yuck!)

I would like this in U.S. English, preferably, although it *is* for a hotel, so many diners would actually be from other nationalities, not only from the U.S.

Gracias :)

P.S.: yes, blueberries and raspberries ARE in English in the original, these menus are all a mixed bag of both languages... Hey, this is Panama, what can I say? ;)

Note from asker:

Saludos - teju :)

Maybe I just misunderstood and thought the potatoes were a TOPPING for French toast, and they were just a side dish... Some people do eat potatoes at breakfast (not me! :P), but these were not hash browns, anyway... ;)"

Blanket of boiled potatoes

2.-Sábana Tres Salsas Con nopales y salsa verde, amarilla y roja.

potato pancakes? hash browns?

Just a guess, but I cannot imagine any of the other options next to French Toast.... (or on top of it!)

sabanas can be thin sheets of pastry or other things to make things like 'empanadillas', so this is a guess which I might go for
