I have an idea of the meaning from context, but I think it is a bizarre way of stating the concept. At any rate, please see if you can help, but if you answer, kindly be sure you know what you are talking about. I hate to be so blunt, but at times, some colleagues venture to guess at answers for the sake of scoring points.

An educated guess might prove useful when the translator needs to pose a question. That is the reason why the answerer grades his or her level of confidence. In any case, your caveat is welcome and makes sense, mainly when colleagues "agree" or "disagree"

el Juzgado corrió nueva vista de la causa al Defensor de la Niñez y de la Adolecencia.

the Court again served notice of this cause on the Children's and Juvenile Services Attorney

"Correr vista" means to serve notice when it refers to notice to a prosecuting authority, in this case the Children's and Juvenile Services Attorney.

I add "Services" because it would be clearer and sounds better and more usual in English.

And yes, I do know what I'm talking about!

In Mexico they say "dar" vista (to a prosecutor)...

they also say "correr" traslado, which is a copy of a lawsuit...

In Paraguay they also appear to use similar terms.

"Dar intervención" is another they use in Mexico, which another colleague just asked about me privately. It also means to serve notice.
