"I tubi curvati non devono presentare ovalizzazioni e non devono avere *bugnature* o fessurazioni."

Insomma, la bugnatura è chiaramente un difetto del tubo. Sapete come si può dire? Non so nemmeno se si intendano delle rientranze, che forse potrei tradurre "dents", o dei rigonfiamenti... Grazie!

Non posso immaginare come sarebberro risultati "bugnati" visto che, come dici tu, le rientranze, o "dents" sono più probabili - a meno che si tratti di "irregularities" oppure bumps intorno alle giunture saldate, o a causa della corrosione?

Explanation:
Metto ancora una "confidence" bassa perché sto cercando di andare a senso. Il "bugnato" in architettura è una lavorazione in rilievo di elementi di edifici (attraverso l'uso di pietre lavorate in maniera particolare, dette bugne: es. a forma di punta di diamante, come nel caso del Palazzo dei Diamanti di Ferrara). Da questo mi sorge il sospetto che la bugnatura non sia una rientranza, ma piuttosto una protuberanza...
