Bonjour,
Dans l'extrait suivant, j'ai un peu de mal à retranscrire le terme "trust" :
"There is a Native American saying relating to the environment: “We do not inherit the earth from our parents; we borrow it from our children”. We also hold the future of human society in trust for our children. We must not allow beneficiaries of that trust to be abused."
J'ai une première idée de traduction que ne me satisfait pas totalement :
"Il existe un dicton amérindien sur l’environnement selon lequel « Nous n’héritons pas de la terre de nos parents, nous l’empruntons à nos enfants ». De même, nous gérons aujourd’hui la société de demain et nous devons en prendre soin pour ses futurs bénéficiaires."
