Mar�a, dinos si el resto del texto usa tambi�n un tono igual de fuerte. Vi en otra pregunta tuya que hab�a una errata, por lo que podr�a tratarse de otra m�s. Se me ocurre 'raving': 'ir de fiesta/juerga/cachondeo'. ?? O)

Indeed, it does seem a bit much (I said it boggles the mind), unless it is some kind of inside joke. But I don't think it's raving either. It's a puzzlement.

I understand that it refers to the fact there were a lot of scandals involving football players and rape allegations a year or so ago (and now!) And the phrase is used in extreme and offensive irony!
Of course there is no "light" or "amusing" nuance of meaning to this verb in English it does mean what it says!

I agree with you Alvaro but I have to admit this possibility as I see a clear connection, tasteless, crass and obscene as it may be it is possible.
