"Home stocktake:
home as sanctuary, home as mortgage millstone, °°home as pit°°."

in a "life audit" book, where you make an inventory of all aspects of your life, mainly to find more time to dedicate to realising your dreams.

I translated it by '(le domicile en tant que) °°trou sans fin°°", because pit could mean a lot of things and I just couldn't find anything that sounded any better.
Whadda ya'll think?
