Spanish term

salud de hierro

Homework / test Spanish to English Medical Idioms / Maxims / Sayings Magazine article (not specialized)
Es un artículo de difusión sobre las causas de anemia y como prevenirla con una buena alimentación.
El título es "Para tener una salud de hierro" y no encuentro una traducción que sea la literal. Quisiera saber si existe un idiom o dicho que lo reemplace porque "having a iron-like health" no termina de satisfacerme.
Agradezco cualquier ayuda!!!

A cast-iron guarantee/promise of good health

The problem with translating this idiom is that in English we don't have an equivalent with iron and health - its as strong as an ox, and nerves of steel, but no exact equivalent. Therefore I think this is the best solution for the whole title as cast-iron is used with promises or guarantees and would fit nicely with the whole title
Note from asker:
Katie, thank you! That's the problem with idioms and word games. But it's only the title and there's no certainty of having good health only because you get the right aount of iron and Vit C in your diet, is it? Thank you very much... Alina (Negra)

healthy as an ox

Es el primer equivalente que se me viene a la mente.
Espero te sirva :)

Iron-clad health / to be a picture of health

El segundo es muy coloquial, pero no hace el juego de palabras con 'iron' : supongo que se recomienda tomar hierro!

Otra podría ser 'bursting with health'

En esa caso quizás 'iron-clad' te sirva. Saludos, Christine Walsh

Chiswa, muchas gracias! Lo que buscaba era no perder el juego de palabras y maantener el sentido del tîtulo. Alina (o Negra)
