agree kringle : sounds good to me - Italianisation of an iconic fashion garment "la giacca Chanel piccolina" = Chanellina, also because the spelling is all wrong for Italian as you wouldn't need an H after that C! Good one dandamesh

They must be referring to this style of jacket, typically short (therefore -ina is here used to indicate it’s a small jacket) and boxy

which is so iconic that, apparently by antonomasia, they are here using the original brand name Chanel to indicate the jacket - I don’t think they are talking about an actual jacket from Chanel -, like Marigold is used to indicate rubber gloves even when they are from a different brand.

“Chanellina” seems to always refer to Chanel-style accessories, never authentic Chanel pieces
