Alexandru Molla (asker) Sep 16, 2014:
Hello and thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, I am unable to ask the client, because this is a site manager's report and my inside contact is an office clerk, so... But I've done some more research myself and it looks like "anchor" is what I need, that's why I closed the question.
Miranda Joubioux (X) Sep 16, 2014:
Check with your client The question that needs asking here is what exactly is 'préscellés' referring to?
I would imagine that there should be a noun before 'préscellés', but that we are expected to know what they are talking about. Unfortunately, the translator is often confronted with this kind of thing and we seldom know exactly what they are referring to. Anca has come up with a possibility, but there isn't enough context here to help us along.
If you can't ask your client, then anchors is probably your best bet (as suggested by Kashew).

Note from asker:
Aha, could also be "plombage" / sealing... I never thought of deconstructing the word and look it up by pieces :)
