I need that verb in English that ends in a single 's', so not verbs like 'cross', 'kiss' etc. I think there's only one and it's very rare.

I assume you are asking about the infinitive, because there are many verbs in the 3rd person ending in "S". By the way, is this for a crossword puzzle?
