Strange poll...
if the clients is Hungarian, of course, in Hungarian.
If Russian, of course, In Russian.
To Latvian clients I am trying to answer in Latvian, however, as it requires an another PC if I am very busy or in hurry I can just type the Latvian text without its garumziimes like now.
The introduction of the office translated into 14 languages.
Each time I try to tell/speak/write at least few words on the client's language.

I have an old client from Italy whom I really appreciate so for the sake of communication I gained some Italian. He is talking to me in Italian and inserts some English and Hungarian words he knows and I reciprocate the favor. He was surprised when received the first e-mail, beginning with "Distinto Signor M**, mi rivolgo a Lei in riferimento alla Sua offerta" - and he accepted the offer

My mails with clients are usually in English, even when projects have Spanish as source language.

Sometimes, with Spanish/Argentine clients, in Spanish.

But never in Portuguese, my target language, once I don't have clients in Brazil.
