Impossibility to maximize the Workbench window

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with TRADOS. When I open Workbench, it opens directly in a minimized window in the status bar located at the lower part of the screen and I can't maximize it. I can't adjust the size of the Workbench window so I can see every segment I open.


Is there anyone who knows how to solve it?

ANSWER
You can fix this by changing the value of 2 keys in the Windows Registry.

1. Close Translator's Workbench.

2. From the Start menu, choose Run. The Run dialog box is displayed.

3. Type regedit in the Run box.

ANSWER
You can fix this by changing the value of 2 keys in the Windows Registry.

1. Close Translator's Workbench.

2. From the Start menu, choose Run. The Run dialog box is displayed.

3. Type regedit in the Run box.

4. Click OK. The Windows Registry Editor is displayed.

5. In the left side pane, navigate through the folders to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TRADOS\TW4Win\Last Session.

6. On the right side pane, right-click on X and select Modify from the short menu. The Edit DWORD Value dialog is displayed.

7. Under Base, select the Decimal option.

8. Under Value Data, enter 0.

9. Click OK.

10. Repeat step 6 through 10 for the key Y.

11. Close the Registry Editor.

12. Launch Translator's Workbench.

13. Translator's Workbench's window should open on the top left side of the screen and you can resize it as you wish.

María, thank you so much for posting this tip on how to debug Workbench. I don't know how I would have done it without your help! I thought I would have to re-install Trados and all. You are a life saver!
