I haven't got a picture. The context is the pieces of a bulletproof vest. The sentence says:

I imagine the "ceñidor" is for tightening or adjusting something (?)

it sounds to me like this is what you need. The kind of belt that goes around the waist (ceñidor) and that you can attach all the appropriate gear to for an expedition (capaña).
