Russian to English translations [PRO]

Russian term or phrase: большие прыжки
it's a long time since I wanted to be a ballerina and I can't remember how we translate this into English (I mean, it will be french term such as sauter or something!)
can anyone help?

Explanation:
Sarah, I'm not a ballerina, so I'm just guessing, but this looks quite plausible. I'm thinking that whatever it is, it contains the word "grand" (for bol'shiye), so that may help you a bit. By the way, I believe the second "e" in jete has an accent over it.

A Google search for ballet terms glossary OR dictionary netted quite a few sources that may help you. Here are a couple:

Sorry, I was forgetting my 25-year-old French grammar, if it's plural there should be an S on both adjective and noun: grands jetes.
