Portuguese term

isso aqui que fura a gente...

Portuguese to English Other Cinema, Film, TV, Drama script for a video
Hi all! I'm translating the transcription for a video on lobster fishing on a jangada. I don't have the video, just the Portuguese in a Word document to translate. This part is about how they cook on the boat. Is the man complaining about the salt water, saying it's bad for them but that they're used to it? Thanks for your help!

Luciano too.
Lindsay Spratt (asker) Jul 24, 2013:
Marlene, I think you're right, that's why he says they're used to it.
Marlene Curtis Jul 24, 2013:
With the new context I would say yes, the lobster's claws pierce/prick/cut their hands.
Lindsay Spratt (asker) Jul 24, 2013:
Sorry guys, I've just been sent the video and at this point, the guy picks up the lobster he's about to cook, breaks off a part of it and puts it into the water to boil. So I guess 'fura' is in the sense of it being too spiky to eat? I don't eat lobster so I'm a bit clueless!

and that's what hurts your innards . . .

Suggestion:

and that's what hurts your innards . . .

. . a gente, a gente, a gente, etc.
