In the context of a labor agreement, these are salaried workers not covered by overtime rules. Could it refer to something + Informatique + technologie?

Catharine Cellier-Smart Apr 8, 2013: Vente? The V could stand for "Vente quelquechose" - Sales is one of the few departments that are part of a large business and that are missing from the list. Interesting that it's also the only word in the list without an article. P.S. I entered "VIT" into French wikipedia and was very surprised by the page that was displayed - I still haven't figured out why...

Tony M Apr 7, 2013: Voluntary... I was wondering if this was anything to do with voluntary workers, who by their nature would presumably not be eligible for overtime? There are a number of statuses for voluntary workers, but I haven't been able to pin down this specific one. Might be an avenue for further research?
