Make practice cuts on scrap material to determine whether your angle settings are correct.
To check the zero degree stop:
Loosen the Saw Arm Lock (16) and move the lock knob as far as it will go to the right (so that the saw arm tilts to the left)
If necessary, loosen the screw holding the Angle Indicator (17) Move the indicator to the 0° mark and securely tighten screw
